Information you choose to share
Contact, financial-support, competition-support, and teammate requests can include your name, email, interests, grade, availability, and the message you write. Team applications can also include a portfolio link, résumé, and recent grades or a transcript requested by the application form.
We use these details to respond to the request you submitted and, where relevant, review your application or discuss suitable support. Share only what is needed; do not include banking details, government identification numbers, or unrelated sensitive records.
Forms, email, and service providers
When online delivery is available, form messages and application attachments are sent to our team using Resend. If delivery is unavailable, the form displays an error; an unsuccessful response does not confirm that your request was received.
The newsletter form opens your email application with a subscription request. That request is sent only if you choose to send the email. To stop newsletter emails, reply to the sender with an unsubscribe request.
Railway hosts this website and Cloudflare provides network delivery and security. These providers can process technical request information such as an IP address, browser information, requested URLs, and access times. Email and hosting providers may process information outside your country.
The interactive Opportunities Map loads map tiles from OpenStreetMap. Opening that map sends technical requests to the tile provider, which can receive your IP address, browser information, and the requested tile URLs.
Browser storage and shared plans
Your language preference and saved opportunity plan are stored in your browser so they can be available on a later visit. You can remove them by clearing this website’s browser storage; this also resets your saved preferences and plan.
Opportunity share links contain selected catalog and milestone identifiers. Anyone with a share link can view that selection. Do not place personal or confidential information in a shared URL.
The current website does not include advertising trackers or behavioral analytics scripts. Third-party websites linked from our resources have their own privacy practices.
Retention and your choices
Messages and attachments can remain in team correspondence and service-provider records. The website does not apply an automatic deletion period to mailbox correspondence. Contact us to ask about access, correction, or deletion of information you have sent; some records may need to be kept to meet applicable obligations.
You can browse the public resources without submitting a form. Withdrawing a contact request or asking to unsubscribe does not clear copies already stored in your own email account or browser.
Students and families
For a child under 13, a parent or guardian should make the inquiry and provide their own contact email. If you believe a child has sent personal information without appropriate parental involvement, contact us so we can review the submission and removal request.
